Sunday: I took a well-deserved day off from all that exercise and watched Lord of The Rings AND the Emmy's. Back at it tomorrow morning!
Saturday again: wow, did 30 mins of limited water aerobics in the pool today. This, in addition to my morning walk!

Whew, Saturday! OK, I know I'm pushing it...I did 42 mins today...the usual big "round the horn, and back behind Safeway, with an additional little jog up Wedgewood and additional leg past my place, to the back near the cable box, and back home. It was already hot at 9am, so I got overly tired and sweaty so I had to sit down and watch TV for an hour when I got home. Very nice. This afternoon I'm going for my first dip in the pool with Jan and Dave...yipppeee!!!...I LOVE the pool!

Wow, let me catch up: Mon: walked around the block = 37 mins; Tues: walked with Elke 40 mins; Wed: Did shopping chores with my mom (Stroud's, Title Co, Dr. Miller's, Safeway) - whew! was tired...about 2 hrs all tolled; Thurs: took the day off from my big walk (and it was HOT!) but went to the hospital by myself, had an x-ray, parked at the far end of the parking lot for a decent walk in and back...still had time for lunch at Willow Street with my pals Elke and Holly, then to the doc for a checkup; FRI: walked reverse route, cross over Pollard to Donut shop, back around behind Safeway, along More, cross over Pollard, around to the freeway walkway, back to La Corona, past the pool, down the back way, back home, then out to Pollard, make a right, down to More and back again = 40 mins!

Now for something different: an hour at the mall helping my son shop and corral my two granddaughters. This was more of a workout than a spin around the block! We ended at the toy store buying the darling girls a toy...Vivi chose a "beautiful" (her words) pink puppy and Maxi chose good ol' Winnie The Pooh (good choice, Maxine!).

This morning, 35 mins; back around outer perimeter of complex, over to More, across Pollard, back behind Safeway, along Wellville (not unlike Pleasantville), around the horn and back home; a small extra bit along back of complex up to cable box, turn around and come home. Yeah!
Yesterday, 30 mins; two laps around outside of complex.

Today, 30 mins, same route as yesterday but added extra loop in back of complex, around the front doors of the freeway-facing units. Oh yeah, stopped and smelled some roses along the way. :-)
Yesterday, 24 mins...oops shorter time, but walked faster...around back of complex, past pool, La Corona to More, cross over Pollard, behind Safeway, around the horn, back home.

31 Minutes today. Pollard to More, cross Pollard to Pet Spa; along Shopping Center in the shade, out by Donut Shop, down side street, turn back, cross Pollard to home; walk to pool and back.
